You can learn how to use the Signia Assistant here.

Mask Mode

The Mask Mode is a new feature in the Signia App which revolutionizes hearing aid wearers’ hearing experience when speaking with someone who is wearing a face mask.

The Mask Mode is available in the Signia app under the Universal hearing program. It appears on the screen as a button with a face mask icon at the top right next to the volume slider. You can easily activate Mask Mode by tapping the button, which then turns from grey to red. While it is switched on, the hearing aids optimally capture the sound of the speech signals so that the words sound clearer, and any background noise is reduced to help you understand what is being said. When you have finished talking to the person wearing a mask, you can easily deactivate Mask Mode by simply tapping the button again, and it turns back to grey.

Remote Control

The remote control functions of the Signia app can help you further personalize your hearing experience. The main menu will show the current volume of the hearing aids and the current program on top. If you have the tinnitus program, you will find an extra icon at the bottom of the page where you can adjust the tinnitus therapy signal.

You can view your streaming devices, such as StreamLine TV or StreamLine Mic, by tapping on the streaming icon. If you are using an audio streaming accessory, you will be able to adjust its volume level in the app.

TeleCare

To use TeleCare functionalities, separate activation is required by your hearing healthcare professional. You can contact your local provider to discuss getting the activation code from them.

You can access TeleCare by selecting Professional in the main menu of the app. You will see the name of your hearing healthcare provider in the app and at the bottom you can enter a chat to send to them. Your messages will appear in red, and the hearing healthcare professional’s messages will appear in grey within the chat.
