The Hearing Aid Practitioner applies specialized knowledge to perform basic audiometric testing and recommend assistive hearing devices, conduct minor hearing aid repairs and assist the Audiologist in pediatric assessments. The Hearing Aid Practitioner works closely with 2 Audiologists and 2 ENT specialists.
You must have completed a diploma course for Hearing Aid Practitioner and qualify to be certified by the National Board of Hearing Instrument Specialists. Based in Yellowknife, this position does require travel for the provision of services throughout the Northwest Territories.
